AutoEase History

Established in 1999 AutoEase, is a vehicle solutions business providing vehicles, funding and maintenance and related services to its valued client base.

The business has been built upon values based on Service, Knowledge and Trust which has proved fundamental to the growth it has achieved.

AutoEase has developed to maximise its operational efficiencies in vehicle purchasing and funding whilst benefiting from ongoing improvements to economies of scale.

Having taken the business from a standing start and developed it, AutoEase are now able to model success and allow others the opportunities of our systems and knowledge base, with the objective of growing both AutoEase Central and through franchised offices.

AutoEase continue to invest in the business and believe they will continue to grow the business both directly and in partnership with franchisees.

AutoEase Management

Andrew Hurst is presently the majority shareholder with the remaining shares being held by management team Neil Monks and our Franchise Director.

Andrew Hurst has a well established background in Finance & Leasing starting his career in 1992 with HSBC Asset Finance. Gaining experience at all levels in sales, credit and marketing in both Asset Finance and Contract Hire.

Moving to Mercedes Benz in 1997 Andrew had experience of vehicle sales, marketing and contract hire from a new perspective. Principally involved in managing the Dealer network for the South West region Andrew also undertook project work involved in systems development, vehicle disposals and strategic reviews.

Developing an interest in system improvement and eying a gap in the market AutoEase concept was born.

Neil Monks has 20 years experience in contract hire having worked for Lex and HSBC, in Senior Sales roles. Neil moved to Overdrive to set up service authorisation for 3rd party contract hire companies. In 2003 Neil went to work for an Independent contract hire company before joining AutoEase in February 2005.

Our Franchise Director has over 16-years experience and knowledge of franchise businesses.

Business Development

AutoEase has developed its corporate identity to be clear and easily defined. This is important so that what we do is easily identifiable and that our underlying values are incorporated - Service - Trust - Value.

AutoEase set out to serve larger clients who want a long term partner who they can lean on for support in their fleet functions and can help them configure fleet plans and policy and administer them in the most efficient ways. With this said, AutoEase can equally provide vehicles for small business and individuals which will be competitive against standard dealer offers. We do not believe in throwing 'artificial' low cost proposals to the market which are mostly made up to get the customers attention as this deteriorates from our brand.

We see our competition mostly from leasing companies themselves whom lack the flexibility and product selection that we can offer.

AutoEase believe in highly targeted marketing, with the best results from close networking and fulfilling niches. We believe that standard B2B sales rules apply in terms of getting to appointment stage and can be made up from Telesales, Direct Marketing, Internet and referrals. However once the appointment stage is met we believe we shine having developed a suite of presentation material that will impress. High importance is relationship building and the ability to network at all available opportunities including formal business clubs are a must.

From here the client has only to try us out to see the quality of advice and service that will be given.

Franchise Opportunity

AutoEase are offering exciting opportunities to people who share our vision and values, entrepreneurs that want their own Vehicle Solutions business. Based on the AutoEase systems, once you have been trained you will hit the road running and be providing your clients the full range of vehicle services AutoEase offer. You will be supported throughout the process and AutoEase will be committed to making your venture successful.

If you are offered an AutoEaseUK franchise you will be required to pay a franchise fee of £18,500 + VAT. This fee is non-returnable and covers the following:
  • Completion and maintenance of the Franchise Agreement over the initial term
  • Induction training including accommodation and food
  • A 12-month agreement for the supply of a vehicle, livered, for use in the business
  • A 12-month telesales programme to help start your business
  • Obviously, rights to use the AutoEaseUK brand and method of operation within an exclusive territory

AutoEase will assist with much of the above within the Franchise set up period.

Investment Returns

We would expect you to achieve £40k based on our previous trading history. Earnings are however open ended and can exceed projections. Please note figures are illustrations not a guarantee.

Induction & Training

Our continued success, your continued success, is a commitment to develop business skills through a full comprehensive induction course and ongoing training opportunities. Induction training is an essential part of the process of becoming an AutoEaseUK franchise owner, and is designed to give you in-depth knowledge in all areas of the business.

Depending on your experience the induction programme will usually last a minimum of two weeks, designed to introduce new franchise owners to all relevant areas of the business.

Part of the induction programme involves spending a week at our head office. Week two will be spent in your franchise area with a member of the AutoEase team to ensure you are competent in sales and operations.

Our unique 'AutoEaseUK Telesales Campaign Management Programme' will ensure that you have a number of qualified leads as you launch your new business. The campaign is programmed for the first 12-months and can be extended as part of a separate agreement.

We have identified the importance of networking and we will enrol you into the most productive networking programme within you area. Any costs associated with this are covered in the first 12-months of trading. Your commitment to the networking programme will be discussed during the interview process.

  2. Suitable applicants will be invited for an interview
  3. Should the initial meeting prove successful we may ask you to visit an existing franchisee
  4. Once we have conducted a more detailed meeting we will provide you with a sample franchise agreement and access to our operations manual. From this you will need to formulate a detailed business plan
  5. We will review your plans and once satisfied that you have met the standards required we will be ready to sign a franchise agreement and award you a franchise area
  6. Following successful induction training you will be in a position to begin operating your own AutoEaseUK franchise
